Artist Statement:
Inspired by the ancient Egyptian “Tree of Life,” which symbolizes the stages of life, this piece captures the special, fleeting moments that make up a long, fulfilling life. Obstacles are what make us grow and become the best versions of ourselves. The branches blocking our way, eventually become a place of rest on our flight. Tiny bird gems adorn the beautiful golden branches of the tree, resembling jewelry. This piece represents stories of memories, joyful moments, obstacles overcome and the culmination of a life well-lived.
