Artist Statement:

My concept of this theme is spiritual. It is not a lost feeling. Though some breeze through life and some find themselves in darkness. It is a path darkness to find light. The decent and the incline is a natural part of life to reach the destination.

Dallas- based Jane Hopkins has exhibited widely, from a solo show at the Granville Art Center to a private exhibition in Highland Park. She served as President of Artists in Residence at the Dallas Woman’s Club and was featured in a publication of Dallas artists. After training at the New York Studio School, Austin College, and under noted instructors including Jane Starks, Mary Vernon, Suzanne Kelly Clark, and Stephen Quillar, she continues to evolve her practice while creating commissioned work.
