Artist Statement:

My painting “Hummingbird” was a spark of creativity and unlike my other work.

Dallas-based Julie Michel has been painting for over 20 years, driven by freedom, empowerment, and play. She honed her craft through continuing education at SMU and further training under Janet Reynolds at Lakewood Arts Academy (now Studio Arts Dallas), steadily evolving a style that reflects both discipline and creative exploration.
