Artist Statement:

Messy experiments caught my eye. As a kid, I really did make what I thought was a chocolate ice cream pie (out of mud, of course) and topped with whipped cream (out of ground up, wet sheet rock!)

For about a year I had been attempting to do a piece that was different from my normal landscape. So, I abstracted my landscape and added lots of color with wild abandon, thus coming up with something totally out of character! This was an experiment in uncontrolled enthusiam.“Fingers crossed” my adult finger painting will bring you joy.

Suzy Moritz-Rawdin is a Texas-born artist known for her lively pet portraits, architectural renderings, and landscapes.
