Mixed Media Sculpture on Vintage Wood with Paper, Nails, and Diamond Glass

"Dewdrop" explores the contrast between strength and delicacy. An antique pulley mounted on a classical capital forms the foundation for layers of paper, acrylic, glass dust, nails, and resin. Color fragments gather across the surface, each piece held in place by nails that create both tension and structure.

As light moves across the resin and glass, the piece begins to shimmer. That moment reminds me of sunlight catching a single drop of morning dew on a leaf or flower. Industrial materials and salvaged elements are transformed into something unexpectedly luminous.
