Using salvaged orchard wood from Silicon Valley—formerly the Valley of Heart’s Delight—these works combine weathered material with layered encaustic wax applied through an accretion process. The surfaces reference the rhythms of the nearby California coast, where tides deposit and reshape the land over time.

By bringing together these two landscapes, the work reflects on transformation, memory, and the shifting histories embedded in place.
