Artist Statement:

My abstract paintings reflect the colors and kinetic energy of common life adventures.

My story is perhaps unusually joyous. Blessed through heritage, family, friends, health, and faith. The general bright colors and MOTION reflect my energy and positive outlook. That doesn't mean I haven't experienced disappointments, but I tend to focus on my Woahs! and not my Woes! I dance, sing, paint, and invite others to join in.

Artist Bio:

A Dallas native, SMU Arts school graduate and mostly known as a singing artist with several CDs with his Big Band, Tom Gilchrist began painting more routinely in the last several years. He's found success with private collectors and most recently a 6 month show at the Giddens Fine Art Gallery in Grapevine.
